U-Pick Berries and Flowers

Field fee is $3.00 per person plus cost of berries, field fee for children under 2 yo, free. Raspberries & Blackberries are in the same field, so its one entry fee for both berries. U-Pick Raspberries: We have containers for you to use. 6 oz – $4.00 12 oz – $8.00 U-Pick Blackberries by the pint: $8 Berry picking info: RASPBERRIES - only pick VERY RED berries, they will not ripen once off the bush. If they are ready for picking, they will come off the bush very easy, but be careful they are very delicate. You will need to pick the branches up and look under to be able to find them. BLACKBERRIES - only pick VERY BLACK berries, berries with any red or purple on them are not ripe and will be sour. Blackberries are also bigger than raspberries and not as delicate. They are also a bit easier to pick. U-Pick Flowers- Field fee is $3.00 per person plus cost of flowers, field fee for children

Nature Infused Yoga with NJ Audubon
NJ, United StatesNature Infused Yoga with NJ Audubon Ticket sales end at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class. You must pre-register, walk-ins will not be allowed to participate. Led by Kristin Mylecraine, Yoga Teacher. Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. For ages 15 years and older. Preregistration is required. There will be no class 7/1. We are offering an in-person class at the sanctuary and a virtual class online simultaneously. The in-person class has a limit of 10 people. Be sure to purchase the correct ticket. COST: $13 members, $16 nonmembers. Ticket sales ends at 4:30 PM on the Friday before each class. Interested in becoming a member? You will learn how to use plants, shrubs, and trees from your back yard to create a beautiful Bonsai that lasts for years. This process is know as the art of Yamadori—or foraged plant specimens skillfully trained into works of art known as Bonsai. This workshop is led by Blooms at Belle Mead's favorite Bonsai enthusiast, Peter Bethune. Peter brings examples of his bonsai work to show you different techniques and tricks of the trade! This month focuses on how to survive the SUMMER HEAT! For a more in-depth experience, bring in a small young tree of your own. With Peter’s instruction, you will learn how to trim and train your bonsai! Attend each monthly class- growing in knowledge as your bonsai tree grows! There are things to be done to train your tree each month! *Bonsai trees and pots will be available for purchase in the greenhouse at Blooms at Belle Mead.
