Tic Tac Toe Grill Game Toss a little fun on the grill in this Kids Workshop. Your mini-DIYer will build a grill toy that doubles as a tic-tac-toe board. Bring your mini-DIYer into Lowe’s at one of the select time slots. Workshops hosted by one our Red Vest experts are held from 10:00am – 1:00pm, in-store only. We look forward to building with you and your little ones! Don’t forget – if you are unable to attend during your selected timeslot, your kit may be given away to Walk-Ins starting at 1:00pm, the day of the workshop.

Doggy Ice Cream Social Join us for our very first doggy ice cream social! Event and ice cream are free, but we welcome any donations made to SAVE Animal Shelter which is a wonderful organization based in Montgomery, NJ! Event will be held, rain or shine, as it will be held indoors. Doggy ice cream made by The Pupper Cup is dairy-free, gluten-free & has no added sugars! We can't wait to meet your doggos!

Franklin Food Truck Festival 5th Annual Food Truck and Music Festival to benefit students at Franklin High School in Somerset Project Graduation. Let's help give them the party they deserve! Bring your lawn chair and your blanket as you enjoy a late May afternoon on the campus of Franklin High School. There'll be lots of activities including food from 10-12 Gourmet food trucks and small food vendors, live music, games, and activities for kids, and this year a place to bring your blanket and lawn chair to sit in the grass!  Portions of all proceeds go to at Franklin High School in Somerset Project Graduation.

NJ Audubon: July Mushroom Meander Led by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher/Naturalist, former president of the New Jersey Mycological Association Join Dorothy for a “talk and walk” to discover the fascinating world of fungi. Fungi have been used for thousands of years by humans, not only as food but as medicine, fire-starters, insect repellants, decoration, for religious ceremonies and more. Fungi are very important to forests. Not only are they decomposers and recyclers in the forest ecosystem, but they also connect to tree roots – a mutualistic symbiosis that allows trees to communicate with each other. After a talk and display about fungi fun facts, we will walk the trails to look for the diverse groups of mushrooms and fungi. Hand-outs available.
