Central Jersey Jazz Festival Experience the Sounds of Today's Best Live Jazz in Central Jersey Friday Night Kickoff in Somerville: James Popik and Supernova James Popik and Supernova: Time TBD James Popik (Guitar), Tom McMillan (Bass), Ben Cahill (Keys), Tom DiGangi Jr (Drums), Chuggy Carter (Percussion), Tom Tallitsch (Sax), John Henry Goldman (Trumpet), and Lars Wendt (Trombone) Along with original works, James Popik & Supernova play Classic and Modern Jazz with a Jam vibe, what we call Festival Jazz. From Chick Corea, Pat Metheny and John Scofield to 60s funky Jazz like Eddie Harris and Horace Silver, Supernova brings the groove and FUN. You just might wanna dance. Through painting, sculpture, photography and more, participants find strength, resilience, and hope. “The Art of Recovery” celebrates how creativity fosters personal growth, reduces stigma, and unites communities.

A Paddling Afternoon (All Ages, 10 years and older with parent) Join for a relaxing afternoon of some of the prettiest paddling in the state. We will explore quiet coves, discover tranquil hideaways, enjoy scenic vistas, and savor the solitude of the water! Bring a snack and water. Bus transportation provided. Norz Hill Farm Farmers Market In addition to its regular farm market hours, Norz Hill Farm is adding a weekly farmers market to its schedule of community-friendly events this summer. Taking place on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at 120 South Branch Road in Hillsborough, the market will feature wholesome foods and items from area vendors. “The purpose of the market is to offer fresh food and products to Somerset County and neighboring regions,” said Megan Norz, the farm market manager. The market will take place rain or shine, except in the event of severe weather.
