Easter at the Farm & Plant a Seed

Come take a hayride and learn about the farm animals. While you are there visiting the animals, search for the Easter eggs in with the animals and let us know which one was where. When you return with your form, you can turn it in for a small prize. Bring you kids to plant shine seeds with Farmer Debbie. We use cardboard egg cartons, add some dirt, and some seeds. Your child takes them home care for them and then plant outside with your child. The stand will be open where you will find our selection of items available from our farm for your table. This is a very low key event, our grills will not be open, however we will have some small snacky type of items and drinks. Easter Egg Search/Plant-a-seed Participants are $15.00 each and everyone else is $8.00 per person. (if you infant is not participating there is no charge) We will have plenty of opportunities to take pictures and yes with the Easter Bunny too! Hayrides run like in the fall, when you are ready to come back hop on the next wagon.

Walk an Alpaca - Saturday Mornings PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!! NON REFUNDABLE!!!!! NON CHANGEABLE!!!! Alpaca Halter Training (Walking): Walk one of our beautiful, friendly Alpacas around our property. Enjoy their wonderful personalities and cuteness overload. You will be instructed on how to handle your alpaca and we will give you a little bit of information on our Alpacas. 1 reservation is 1 Alpaca and 1 Person. Children under the age of 9 cannot walk by themselves. Your walk will last around 15 minutes. Feel free to take lots of pictures with your alpaca and if you need assistance doing so, please as one of our Volunteers for help. This is a rain/snow or shine unless torrential rain then we will postpone. PLEASE BE ONTIME! IF YOU ARE MORE THAN 5 MINUTES LATE FOR YOUR SCHEDULED WALK, YOUR WALK WILL BE CANCELLED!!!!! Our helpers are all volunteers, so tipping is appreciated.

Light Opera of NJ’s Stars of Tomorrow – Vocal Competition for High School Students

The application period is now open for LONJ's second annual Stars of Tomorrow Competition, a vocal competition for New Jersey High School students. The competition will consist of a qualifying round based on videos that students submit online. The application deadline is March 1, 2025. Click Here for Application. Finalists will perform live in front of a distinguished panel of judges on April 5, 2025 at 2 PM at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Basking Ridge, NJ. Prizes are $1000 for first place and an appearance in an upcoming LONJ Main Stage production, $500 for second place and $250 for third place as determined by the judges, $100 for the audience favorite. According to Jason Tramm, Executive Producer, "LONJ is committed to finding and presenting the best New Jersey high school-aged musical theater and opera talent. We will be eagerly looking forward to reviewing the submissions with top professionals from the vocal field!" If you're looking for a great way to spend a Saturday night, then Comedy Night at Willie McBride's in Branchburg on Saturday April 5, 2025 should be at the top of your list. You'll see the comedy stars of tomorrow in one of the best comedy clubs in the area. Tickets are $20 The show starts at 7:00. Doors open at 6:15.
