This exhibition highlights artistic expression as a vital healing tool, helping individuals process emotions, share their journeys, and reconnect with themselves and their communities. Through painting, sculpture, photography and more, participants find strength, resilience, and hope. “The Art of Recovery” celebrates how creativity fosters personal growth, reduces stigma, and unites communities.

All Abilities Art Fest Calling all artists, writers, art collectors, art enthusiasts, friends, and family! Join us for a day of affordable, accessible art! Featuring discounted art sales, plein air painting, yoga workshop, writing workshop, and literary open mic, all on the beautiful Matheny campus in Peapack, NJ. Free for all to attend! This all day event is a celebration for everyone who loves art, including artists and writers with or without disabilities, art enthusiasts, art collectors, friends, and family! Join us for a day of affordable, accessible art at the Robert Schonhorn Arts Center on the Matheny campus. The Fall festival is held weekends only, hours are 11am to 6pm last entry and wagon ride to the event field is 4:30 We will not be open on Columbus Day 2024 Dates: October 5/6, 12/13, 19/20, 26/27 Discounts offered for Seniors and Military (must show Military ID) FYI: Our tractor pulled wagon is how you get to our fall festal event field, if you do not wish to take the wagon ride and want to walk, upon admission you must ask our team member to give you a driveway pass, those without passes will not be able to gain access to the driveway. Currently do not take credit cards; an ATM will be on premise should you need it. Watchung's Texier Open House Museum The Texier House Museum is Watchung’s central location for history, photos, fun facts, and artifacts. Visit and investigate each of the 6 rooms independently or together, speak with our tour guides, and learn about the many wonderful tales from Watchung’s (nearly) 100 year history! The Texier House Museum is typically open the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month from 2pm to 4pm, but be sure to periodically check this page for any updates or event closings. Admission is FREE. Donations are always greatly appreciated.

Agatha Christie’s “Black Coffee”

Agatha Christie's "Black Coffee" The Lord Stirling Theater Company will perform Agatha Christie’s “Black Coffee” in the English Barn Theater at the Farmstead Arts Center, 450 King George Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. “Black Coffee” will open on Friday, October 18, at 7:30PM, with additional performances on October 19 at 7:30PM, October 20 at 2:00PM, October 25 and 26 at 7:30PM, and October 27 at 2:00PM. Tickets are $25 general admission, $23 for seniors (65 and over) and students, $20 for Farmstead Arts members, and $15 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased online at https://farmsteadarts.org/what-we-do/theater.html or at the door (cash only). An accomplished physicist has constructed a workable formula for one of the deadliest weapons on earth. After the theft of this formula and a suspicious murder, the stage is set for the legendary detective Hercule Poirot to get involved in the case. Poirot, along with the help of Captain Hastings and Inspector Japp, must figure out who committed the murder (or murders?) and stole the formula, as well as sort through the endless red herrings, subplots, and wonderful twists and turns in true Agatha Christie fashion. This mystery will surprise and delight all audiences! "Black Coffee" is presented
