Brooks Got Talent at The Brook Arts Center Prepare to be amazed and entertained as we bring you "Brooks Got Talent," a spectacular talent competition that showcases the extraordinary skills and hidden gems within our community! It's time to shine the spotlight on the diverse talents that make Bound Brook truly exceptional. Event Highlights: Dazzling Performances: From singers to dancers and side-splitting comedians, Brooks Got Talent is set to feature a kaleidoscope of performances that will leave you in awe. Witness the sheer talent that resides within our community and be prepared to be moved, inspired, and thoroughly entertained. Talent Competion: Our talented contestants will compete for the coveted title of "Brooks' Most Talented." A panel of esteemed judges, as well as the audience, will decide who takes home the crown. Maple Sugaring
Maple Sugaring at The EEC Maple sugaring is a tradition in the Northeast that began centuries ago with the Native Americans and Colonists. People of all ages are invited to see this tradition brought to life at the Environmental Education Center (EEC). You will see how trees are tapped, view sap-collecting methods past and present, and see the boiling process that produces delicious New Jersey maple syrup. This 60-minute, outdoor program is conducted at our Sugar Shack, a ½-mile hike from the EEC. Please arrive at the EEC 30-40 minutes before the program start time to purchase tickets and hike to the Sugar Shack to meet your Naturalist. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. Boots are recommended as the trails can be wet, muddy, and/or covered by snow. Tickets cost $6 per student/senior and $7 per adult.
Exploring the Underground Railroad with Codes
Exploring the Underground Railroad with Codes at RVCC Planetarium *FREE ACTIVITIES* Explore hands-on activities inspired by codes found in the song “Follow the Drinking Gourd” and in quilt squares to learn more about astronomy and the Underground Railroad, a secretive network of people and places that helped thousands of enslaved people move northward as far as Canada to escape slavery. Participants may explore hands-on activities and view displays about nature, codes, and African Americans who have made a difference. (Recommended for ages 6-12)

Stone Hearth at Flounder Brewing
Stone Hearth at Flounder Brewing We are excited to welcome to the Barn for the first time Stone Hearth. Stone Hearth is a traditional bluegrass band playing in central New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. They cover an assortment of bluegrass standards and classic country songs, along with a few original numbers. They regularly appear at Wind Gap Bluegrass Festival, AFBA bluegrass festival, and the Hunterdon County 4H Fair, as well as many local churches and farms.
