Gather your family and enjoy a day filled with classic field day competitions, old-fashioned farm fun, and unforgettable memories. Whether you're racing in a potato sack, tossing water balloons, cheering on the corn eating contest, or simply enjoying the petting zoo, there's something for every member of the family. Throughout the day, compete for prizes, cool off in our sprinkler and bubble play area, browse local vendors, grab a bite from delicious food trucks, and enter our raffle for a chance to win an incredible Abma's Farm prize package. It's the perfect way to celebrate the final days of summer before school begins! Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Led by Kristen Mylecraine, Yoga Teacher and NJ Audubon Senior Research Scientist Yoga is a great way to relax, connect with yourself, and increase flexibility and strength. Explore the connections between yoga and nature in this 75-minute class. No experience necessary; all levels welcome. Please arrive 10 minutes early and bring a yoga mat. For ages 15 years and older. This workshop will be held outdoors when the weather is suitable. During inclement weather it will be held indoors. We are offering an in-person class at the sanctuary and a virtual class online simultaneously. Be sure to purchase the correct ticket. There will be no class 7/4. COST: $15 members, $20 nonmembers. Rockingham State Historic Site 84 Laurel Avenue, Franklin Township, United StatesNew Jersey welcomes the world to Rockingham State Historic Site for the 250th Birthday of the United States. Visit the historic New Jersey Dutch Barn for an illustrated introduction to George Washington’s final headquarters of the Revolutionary War. Handle reproduction artifacts of the Revolutionary War. Sign up for tours of the grounds. Rockingham was George Washington's final wartime headquarters. Arriving from New York, Washington stayed at Rockingham from August 23, 1783 and left November 10, 1783. While at Rockingham, Washington entertained guests, issued his Farewell Orders to the Army, and learned the United States became formally independent with the signing of the Treaty of Paris. The historic house remains closed due to construction for stabilization of the south elevation. ? Revolution NJ is New Jersey’s official observance of the 250th anniversaries of New Jersey’s first Constitution July 2, 2026 and the American Revolution in New Jersey from 2024 – 2033.
