Paddle Practice Improve your paddling skills by practicing on Branta Pond – remember; practice makes perfect or at least progress! This will be a super fun session and you will be amazed at how much better and more comfortable you will feel after these two hours. Participants will meet at the Environmental Education Center, 190 Lord Stirling Road, Basking Ridge, NJ. Pre-registration is required. $20 per person

Watchung's Texier Open House Museum The Texier House Museum is Watchung’s central location for history, photos, fun facts, and artifacts. Visit and investigate each of the 6 rooms independently or together, speak with our tour guides, and learn about the many wonderful tales from Watchung’s (nearly) 100 year history! The Texier House Museum is typically open the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month from 2pm to 4pm, but be sure to periodically check this page for any updates or event closings. Admission is FREE. Harding on August 2, 1923, this tour reenters the debate between the U.S. Senator from New Jersey and the only U.S. president elected from New Jersey over the Treaty of Versailles and League of Nations in 1919, leading into President Harding’s election in 1920, and follows President Harding’s summer golf vacations in New Jersey in 1921 and 1922, featuring monumental moments ending World War I and remembering the American Revolution.
