Welcome World to George Washington’s Rockingham
New Jersey welcomes the world to Rockingham State Historic Site for the 250th Birthday of the United States. Visit the historic New Jersey Dutch Barn for an illustrated introduction to George Washington’s final headquarters of the Revolutionary War. Handle reproduction artifacts of the Revolutionary War. Sign up for tours of the grounds. Rockingham was George Washington's final wartime headquarters. Arriving from New York, Washington stayed at Rockingham from August 23, 1783 and left November 10, 1783. While at Rockingham, Washington entertained guests, issued his Farewell Orders to the Army, and learned the United States became formally independent with the signing of the Treaty of Paris. The historic house remains closed due to construction for stabilization of the south elevation. ? Revolution NJ is New Jersey’s official observance of the 250th anniversaries of New Jersey’s first Constitution July 2, 2026 and the American Revolution in New Jersey from 2024 – 2033.

40th Annual Lebanese Festival
The 40th Annual Lebanese Festival is almost here! This Festival is a great outdoor gathering of families, friends and neighbors for authentic Middle Eastern food, music, dance and culture. Traditional Lebanese foods such as falafel, shawarma (gyro), hummus, spinach pies, tabouhli, stuffed grape leaves and much more will be featured. In addition, there will be a large assortment of Middle Eastern pastries to indulge in. For entertainment, there will be live music featuring a different singer each day. There will also be dancing and folkloric performances along with raffles, prizes, souvenirs and games of chance. Because of the abundance of Middle Eastern cuisine, live music, dancing, and games, the Lebanese Festival is recognized as one of the most outstanding annual events in the community. People from throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the Tri-State region regularly attend. Admission and parking are FREE and everyone is invited!

Ben Folds in Concert with New Jersey Symphony
Ben Folds guest artist Edwin Outwater conductor New Jersey Symphony Emmy®-nominated singer-songwriter-composer Ben Folds joins the New Jersey Symphony for a unique and unforgettable performance of music from across his career. Widely regarded as one of the major musical influences of our generation, Folds’ enormous body of genre-bending music includes pop albums with Ben Folds Five, multiple solo albums, and numerous collaborative records. His latest album, 2023’s What Matters Most, is a blend of piano-driven pop-rock songs, while his 2015 Concerto for Piano and Orchestra soared to #1 on both the Billboard classical and classical crossover charts. He released his first Christmas album in 2024 and last Fall recorded a live album slated for release in 2025 with the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) at The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., where he served for eight years as the first artistic advisor to the NSO.
