An Evening to Commemorate October 7 with Jessica Steinberg, "The Times of Israel" Podcast Host Moderated by Community Member Wally Yosafat In commemoration of the events of October 7, join us for a powerful evening of reflection with Jessica Steinberg, Arts and Culture Editor at The Times of Israel. Jessica will share her personal and professional journey as she shifted from covering Israel’s cultural landscape to reporting on the harrowing realities of war, documenting the lives of those who were taken, lost, or forever changed. Through articles, podcasts, and on-the-ground reporting, she has become a vital voice chronicling the human side of tragedy. Her talk will also explore how Israeli society has begun to process this trauma through creativity, highlighting recent works of art and music that respond to life in a new and uncertain reality. Please note: While this program honors the events of October 7, it is being held on September 29 out of respect for the Sukkot holiday, which falls on October 7 this year.
