Colonial Farms: The Original Work From Home
Celebrating the colonial farm as the original "work from home" and paying tribute to the contributions of local businesses past and present, this unique event is in recognition of the 265th anniversary of Bernards Township and in anticipation of the Nation's 250th anniversary. Presented by Farmstead Arts, Bernards Township, and the Basking Ridge Business Alliance. ACTIVITIES ? Free antique & collectible appraisal by Jon Felz of RZM Fine Art & Antiques inside the barn* ? Premiere of a new exhibit tracing the Bernards Township economy entitled "Bernards Township Businesses: Then & Now" ? Farmstead Members Fall Art Show preview ? Self-guided history tours of our 18th-century farmstead ? Pack a lunch and picnic on the 4-acre riverside grounds *Those interested in having their "treasures" appraised should arrive promptly at 10 a.m., first-come, first-serve. No early access.
