Every Thursday, the Underground transforms into Somerville’s hottest new LGBT+ spot, hosted by your favorite twink-and-twunk duo, @?Nick._.Bell and @?Natesprjr! ? This week’s theme: Stars, Stripes, and Pop Bangers? — so show up in your most patriotic party lewks and get ready to scream-sing to all your fave queer anthems and pop throwbacks. July 4th – Declaration of Independence at Historic 130th Annual Independence Day in Martinsville
Free and open to the public Washington Camp Ground Association High School Scholarship Awardees to Read Declaration of Independence at Historic 130th Annual Independence Day Celebration in Martinsville Event to be held at Middlebrook Camp Ground, the site of General Washington’s Troop Encampment Martinsville(Bridgewater, NJ) - Washington Camp Ground Association (WCGA) High School Scholarship Awardees From Bound Brook, Bridgewater, Middlesex and Somerset County Vo-Tech have been invited to perform the 130th reading of the Declaration of Independence at the historic annual Independence Day celebration. The event, free and open to the public, will start at 10:30 a.m. on the 4th of July. Run by the Washington Camp Ground Association, it will take place at the Middlebrook Camp Ground in Martinsville (Bridgewater) (GPS address: located at 1761 Middlebrook Rd, Bound Brook, NJ 08805). The public is asked to arrive by 10 a.m. while patriotic music is played. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets. Parking is limited so carpool or walk if possible. Annual 4th of July Fireworks
INDEPENDENCE DAY FIREWORKS Music, Fireworks, and Fun! Please refer to the red notice bar at the top of our website for any changes in the schedule for today's Fourth of July Fireworks event due to inclement weather. Updates will also be posted on social media. The Annual July 4th Fireworks Display will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025 at 9:30 P.M. at North Branch Park on Milltown Road in Bridgewater. Admission is free to July 4th celebration. North Branch Park gates will open at 6:00 P.M. to allow vehicles to enter the park and families to picnic on park grounds. The fireworks display will begin at 9:30 P.M. Visitors should plan to arrive early. Milltown Road will be closed at approximately 9:00 P.M. Heavy car and foot traffic is expected. Yacht Rock Gold Experience will perform memorable hits of the decades from the 70’s up to the latest chart toppers at 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM. The NJ 3rd Regiment Revolutionary War encampment will be onsite. Park visitors should bring lawn chairs or blankets while they enjoy time in the park before the Independence Day fireworks begin.
