Annual Plant Sale at Cross Estate Cross Estate looks forward to hosting our next Annual Cross Estate Gardens Plant Sale on Saturday, May 4, 2024 (rain or shine). NJHGF Members only are welcome from 9am to 10am and all members of the public are welcome from 10am to 12noon. The Plant Sale will feature many plants from the Cross Estate Gardens. Cash or checks (made payable to the NJHGF) will be accepted for payment. We appreciate everyone who will attend the Plant Sale, which helps to support our work through your purchases.

Photopolymer Plate Letterpress with Victoria Beck Saturday, May 4th, 10am-2pm Frontline Arts, 440 River Rd, Branchburg, NJ 08876 Members: $135, Non-Members: $145, Materials: $41.50 Photopolymer plates have revolutionized letterpress in that they allow for quick and easy plate production and printing without the need for tedious typesetting. The user can choose from the myriad of fonts available online or develop their font, logos, and artwork. This wonderful fusion of new plate technology and old printing techniques has sparked a revival in the art of letterpress. Participants will learn to process and print these plates along with what type of imagery is suitable for the medium. They will then be able to use this technique to print their stationery, greeting cards, business cards etc. Students provide: students will need to supply a simple black & white graphic of their desired image/text/logo which will be printed no larger than 4”x5”.
