Intro to Zines with Kath Yarkosky Saturday, March 30th, 12pm-2pm Members: $35, Non-Members: $45, Materials: $6 Please join for an engaging and hands-on workshop that aims to explore the history and creations of Zines. Zines are a unique platform that provides an opportunity to express oneself and share stories, passions, and perspectives. During the workshop, we will explore the rich history and diverse styles of zines, from their beginnings to their contemporary usage. Essential techniques and tools will be introduced to help bring ideas and your creative voice to the zine. Whether you're a seasoned creative or a curious beginner, our workshop provides an inclusive space for participants to explore their creativity. We aim to provide a chance for you to connect with like-minded individuals and leave with a tangible expression of your voice. About the Instructor: Kath is the Production Printer and Studio Tech at Frontline Arts, along with being a Per Diem Instructor. She is responsible for various tasks including general maintenance, inventory management, and contract printing. Kath's educational background includes an Associate of Arts from Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wyoming with a focus on Printmaking and Drawing, and

NJ Audubon Digital Photography Workshop 7: Bird and Wildlife Photography This workshop will focus on techniques used to photograph wildlife, especially birds. In addition to reviewing equipment selection and use, the topics of time of day, weather, composition and light will be covered. Students will be introduced to critical variables to control in bird/wildlife photography, such as exposure and shutter speed. Phil will cover typical camera settings useful for bird/wildlife photography. In addition, the program will include photo editing techniques used to process wildlife images using Adobe Camera RAW, Photoshop and NIK Plug Ins. Students are encouraged to bring a flashdrive with two images (preferably RAW) for review and discussion. Ticket sale ends on 3/29/24 at 4:00 PM.

Songs in this fun laser concert include “Kalien the Alien” by mr RAY, “I Don’t Want to Live on the Moon” from Sesame Street, “Fruit Salad” by the Wiggles, and “Baby Shark.” (Recommended for ages 3-8)

Filthy Rich and the Poor Boys See Filthy Rich and the Poor Boys at Flounder Brewing! Frontman Rich MacPherson is a 40-year veteran of the tri-state music scene and has been a fixture on many of the legendary blues stages and venues. An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Rich has performed with blues legends such as James Cotton, Snooky Pryor, Pinetop Perkins and William Clarke. Rich’s beautiful blend of blues and groove rhythms keeps audiences coming back for more. Rather than pounding away at the listener, Rich understands that good musicianship and restraint are essential. Offstage, Rich MacPherson is a quiet man of few words, but put a guitar in his hands and buckle up for a treat. When not with the Poor Boys, Rich can be found touring with harmonica great Steve Guyger. Rounding out the trio are Kent Miller on harmonica and Larry Ghiorsi on upright bass. Kent Miller is a dynamic harmonica player and singer who has been swinging the blues for decades on the NJ and NYC scene as well as at festivals from Pennsylvania to England and Portugal.
