Tetra-Pak Intaglio Printing with Len Merlo Saturday, March 23rd, 11am-4pm Members: $70, Non-Members: $85, Material Fee: $32 In this one day, in-person workshop, you will learn how to create two intaglio printing plates using Tetra-Pak containers. (Think Box Milk, Soy Milk, Almond milk, Chicken Broth, Rice Milk) Frontline Arts will supply all materials for this workshop, and you will learn how to create eco-friendly intaglio prints from recycled materials with this great non-toxic process. This is a great workshop for the at-home printer with limited space and resources! All experience levels welcome! About the Instructor: Len Merlo is a full time artist and activist living and working in South Plainfield, NJ. He has 25 years of experience teaching art in NJ Public Schools and has taught workshops in ceramics, sculpture and printmaking. He served on the Board of Directors at The Print Center of New Jersey, and The Arts Guild of New Jersey. He is also a member and workshop instructor a Frontline Arts. Practitioners of Musick ~ “18th Century Dutch Music in America” at Abraham Staats House In Person - A live performance of music enjoyed and played in Colonial America by The Practitioners of Musick Join us for this unique opportunity ~ a live performance of music enjoyed and played in Colonial America! The Practitioners of Musick will offer a program that reflects late 17th and 18th century Dutch and English popular music heard in New Netherlands and its capital, New Amsterdam. Astronomy Tonight at RVCC Planetarium We’ve only got a few weeks left to prepare for the upcoming solar eclipse!  Using the Planetarium’s DigitalSky digital theater, explore why and when we have eclipses, how to view a solar eclipse safely, and experience a guided tour of the stars and constellations of the night sky.  Weather permitting, the 3M Observatory will be open after the show. Solar Eclipse glasses are available to purchase at the Planetarium’s gift shop. (Recommended for ages 8 to adult)
