Maxwell Mustardo: Deform Follows Defunction presents the work of ceramic artist Maxwell Mustardo (Pittstown, NJ). Mustardo received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Art History and Theory from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He has been a resident artist at the Takaezu Studio, the Mendocino Art Center, the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, the Sonoma Community Center, & the New Harmony Clay Project. The Brook Arts Center will raise their curtain on April 9th, 2021 with a weekend of fantastic entertainment! Taking our stage on Friday, April 9 is our rescheduled Valentine Comedy Show, with three of NYC’s most hilarious comedians who will take you on a journey of laughter about finding love, being in love, relationships, marriage and so much more. Let’s make April 9, 2021’s Valentine day. Followed on Saturday, April 10 by the band , We May Be Right who pays tribute to the music of Billy Joel. And then on Sunday, April 11 at 7pm, The Closet Carpenters will celebrate the music of the iconic feel good 70s supergroup The Carpenters. We have a sensational season to announce filled with music, dance, film, comedians and more! Our Spring schedule consists of Motor City Revue, Starman - The Bowie Experience, Winslow, An Evening of the Eagles, Dominic Mantuano, Music by Amani, Comedian, Magician, and Ventriloquist Andy Gross (Split Man) and The Johnny Maestro Tribute Band. Fronted by Karl Dietel (The Samples), this accomplished band of NJ/PA musicians takes great care to reproduce every nuance, every riff, every note of the songs they play to capture the spirit and integrity of the Billy Joel legacy. We May Be Right has played venues from the Stone Pony to Fairfield Theater Company. and was voted Hunterdon Happenings Best Band of 2019 and voted #6 on the What's Hot List for Musikfest 2019 (USA Today).
