Collagraph Printmaking with Maria Pisano

Collagraph plates provide a rich platform to create images for prints and books. Utilizing their versatility we will design, cut and print a plate to begin to learn its inherent possibilities. We will investigate materials used to create tonalities, textures and forms and the ability to print these plates both intaglio and relief. The resulting plates will be used by the students to investigate how these methods enhance their own unique personal artistic expressions.

Get the party started with the perfect formal dress or suit for you! Students grades 8 to 12 are invited to browse through our selection of new or gently worn Formal dresses, suits, shoes and accessories at our Formal Wear for All event. All items were donated as part of Girl Scouts Troop #61318 Silver Awards Project’s initiative to dress all boys and girls in style for their upcoming proms and formals. The event is free for the public but please bring a photo ID to check in.
