NJFO returns to Sieminski Theater with The Gypsy Spirit, a concert brimming with expressive lyricism and vibrant color. Internationally acclaimed violinist Xiao Wang takes center stage in Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto No. 1, a work of lush romanticism and soaring beauty. The program concludes with de Falla’s Three-Cornered Hat Suites Nos. 1 & 2—symphonic gems infused with the rhythmic vitality and passionate flair of Andalusian folk music. 

There will be a pre-concert lecture by Dr. Yifei Xu in the theater at 1:30pm.  She will be discussing the program and history of its music.  All ticket holders are welcome to attend.  After a brief pause, the concert will begin at 2:30pm.
