Diya painting and Rangoli Competition

Diwali, the “festival of lights,” is a vibrant celebration of joy, hope, and liberation across South Asia and the diaspora. To celebrate the triumph of good over evil, freedom over oppression, and the interconnectedness of all life at Montgomery’s farmers market we invite you to paint your unique diya and/or create community through a rangoli competition.

Activities are from 10:30am to noon. Open to anyone. Ages 16 and above for rangoli painting. No registration or fees required, just come to the activity table next to the Montgomery Friends of Open Space table and say you want to participate. Supplies provided.
