With his profound knowledge in the culinary field, Filippo is able to present a level of authenticity through his dishes, replicating his mother’s recipes as well as the environment he was exposed to in Sicily. Chef Russo enjoys traveling to his native homeland, and his specialties represent various regions of Italy: Piemonte, Veneto, Lazio, Umbria, Liguria, Lombardia, Toscana, Sardegna and Marche. Da Filippo’s is recognized throughout Europe, and by patrons as far east as Japan and Singapore.
