Join us on Saturday, June 13 for From Revolution to Reflection: Flag Day at the Ross Farm—a free, family-friendly open house that brings together history, music, and community in one of Basking Ridge’s most meaningful historic settings. This event reflects the spirit of the America 250 initiative, welcoming neighbors, local organizations, and visitors to explore our shared history and look ahead toward a “more perfect Union.” Spend an hour or stay for the day—there’s something to discover around every corner. Meander through historic flag displays, tour the home and gardens, enter our historic recipes contest, and enjoy live music throughout the afternoon. ? At 1 p.m., Desmond Diehl sets the tone with a relaxed, roots-inspired performance. ? At 2:30 p.m., don’t miss the finals of our historic recipe contest—bringing a taste of the past to life with a little friendly competition. ? At

Cruise on over to the 5th annual North Pole on North Maple Ross Farm Holiday Lights Drive-Through! Experience the magic as the historic estate comes alive with twinkling lights, festive decorations, and holiday cheer on December 12, 13 & 14 from 5–8 p.m. Drive through the beautifully lit grounds, wave to Santa and his helpers, and enjoy the spirit of the season with family and friends. Donations will be merrily accepted to help support the Friends of the Boudinot-Southard-Ross Estate and future community programs. Don’t miss Cookies & Cocoa with Santa on Saturday, December 13, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m. – the perfect chance to snap some festive photos! No tickets or registration required for these events! Witch, ghost, music lover - this night’s for you. Christian Lopez isn’t just riding the Americana wave - he’s bending it to his will. With a powerhouse voice and foot-stomping energy, the West Virginia native has been carving his own lane in folk rock since his debut EP Pilot and album Onward (2015), produced by Grammy-winner Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile). Rolling Stone hails his sound as “a thrilling ride through eras of rock, pop, and country.” Expect heart, grit, and fresh cuts from his brand-new self-titled EP, released this June - what Christian calls “my gift to you - five new songs, no compromises,” now streaming everywhere. From the shadows of Northwest Jersey’s Appalachian ridge, the Joe Cirotti Trio delivers a high-energy, roots-driven sound blending American folk, jazz, country, bluegrass — with a dash of gypsy jazz and alt-country swagger. Formed in 2015, the well-oiled string band of Joe Cirotti (guitar), Pete Lister (upright bass), and Timmy Coyle (mandolin, guitar) has become a crowd favorite, known for their masterful picking, tight harmonies, and infectious stage presence. Whether as a trio or expanded with banjo, fiddle, dobro, or percussion (often joined by founding member Mike Alexander), they create a sound that’s both steeped in tradition and refreshingly modern. Their 2023 self-titled debut album is available on CD, vinyl, and all major streaming platforms. Drawing on influences from Doc Watson and Tony Rice to Django Reinhardt, Pink Floyd, and Van Halen, the trio stirs up a one-of-a-kind mix that keeps audiences coming back for more. Opening the concert will be Desmond Diehl, a young local musician who has already made his mark on the Ross Farm stage with recent performances. He’ll be joined by Robert Wolf, a NYC-based guitarist. Opening the show is Canadian-born, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Taylor Ashton, known for his inventive folk sound and clawhammer banjo groove.
