Faiths 4 Climate Justice: Sun Day is coordinated by GreenFaith, a global, multi-faith climate justice organization. The campaign’s theme—“Shine a Light for Climate Justice”—calls on faith communities to illuminate the path toward a just, sustainable future. What a perfect way to celebrate Sanctuary + Seed’s first anniversary! Come get your hands messy (in the best way) and learn the ancient, earth-loving art of natural soap-making. Led by long-time soap-maker, Iris M. Gonzalez, this workshop will walk you through the full saponification process—turning simple, sacred ingredients into nourishing bars of organic soap. ? Each participant will take part in preparing a batch using botanical ingredients and personal oils—and will leave with recipes and a bar to cure at home. ? What to Bring: If desired, bring 8 oz of your favorite fat—olive oil, coconut oil, goat’s milk, lard, etc.—to personalize your soap. ???? All safety gear and materials provided ? Great for beginners, herbalists, and anyone who wants to clean with care for creation
