Why Washington Chose Middlebrook: Geography and Logistics Discover why Middlebrook was the ideal location for the Continental Troops twice during the war! Second in a series of 4 symposia deep diving into the Middlebrook Encampment, 1777 and the Middlebrook Cantonment, during the winter of 1778-79. Finally gaining the eye of historians and history buff alike, Middlebrook opens up as a hidden gem that General Washington kept to his advantage. Speakers will breakdown logistics, archaeology, surveying, transportation of the army such as discovering about "Ned Hector: A Black Teamster in the Revolution". Space is limited and this event will sell out quickly. *Books available for sale *Continental Breakfast and one box lunch per person are included. *Students must show their student ID at check-in. *No Refunds unless HTA cancels the event due to extreme weather.
