Rites of Passage: African Drumming and Poetry at SCLSNJ North Plainfield Learn rhythms from the Western region of Africa that have been passed on from ancient times to now. Become culturally immersed in the beats, songs, and lessons that come from the art of playing the djembe drum. Be ready to sing and drum along! The African culture is all about participation.
