Hello Neigh-Bear! Battle Against Book Bans Join Bear Not Bear's Club! Starting December 7th, Bear Not Bear would like to dive into the world of banned books. From exploring the reasons for the bans to celebrating the stories that challenge norms, this club will be a welcoming space for books lovers, advocates, and anyone curious about challenged literature. We'll meet every first Saturday of the month from 1-3pm (with flexibility if needed) to learn, connect, and have open conversations. No pressure to have read specific banned books; this is all about open discussions, learning how to combat censorship, and sharing out love of reading. For those interested, there are books available for purchase as well as chocolate!
