A symbol of love and beauty, roses are a significant symbol of the United States. They also serve as our official flower and floral emblem. Take in their beauty and see thousands of roses in the Rudolf W. van der Goot Rose Garden in Colonial Park at the annual Rose Day Festival, sponsored by the Somerset County Park Commission.

Visitors can enjoy music while there including Zydeco Revelators (a Louisiana-style dance music) and BrassWorks (a quintet brass group), local artisans, and great food! It’s an event for those who love gardens, love being outdoors, and love spending time with family and friends.
