Take in the fall foliage at Bedminster on Sunday, October 7. Raritan Headwaters is hosting their 39th annual Old Fashioned Country Fair, one of the county’s most popular fall events. Admission to this event is $25 per vehicle, with proceeds going to support RHA’s mission to protect the water in rivers, streams, and homes through environmental education, community well testing, stream monitoring and cleanup, research, and open space preservation.
While at the event, guests can enjoy a variety of entertainment including live country music and wagon rides drawn by Clydesdale horses.
There will be plenty of activities for children to enjoy such as pumpkin painting, clean river races, a cornhole toss, scarecrow dressing, and farm animals to pet.
Local vendors are onsite to offer produce and specialty and seasonal foods for guests to munch on throughout the day.
Expert tip: Arrive early! Wear sturdy shoes or boots and bring a sweatshirt or jacket if the afternoon gets chilly.
