There is so much history in New Jersey, and Somerset County is at the heart of it all. On this guided bus tour (tours also conducted inside the historical houses), visitors will discover five of the original Somerset County houses that served as general staff headquarters during the Revolutionary War.

During the winter months of 1778-1779, George Washington and his generals rented local houses to live and work with the men in them. Check out five of these houses located in Somerset County where docents at each house will conduct tours inside.
