Mondays, 1 PM - 3 PM Six weeks: February 10th, 24th, March 10th, 24th, April 7th, 21st Enjoy experimenting with textures, colors, and design by exercising your drawing and painting skills to make mono-prints with different techniques. We will create layers by adding and subtracting ink, tracing, image transfer, stencils, collagraph, linocut, and open work time. Learn various registration methods to align your layers perfectly, and strategize your printing process to get the most out of every session. Follow the provided example or develop your ideas with the technique explored that day to make meaningful art. Open work time for your projects to emerge will allow for one-on-one assistance in a group setting. Stay creative with your fellow printmakers, and have fun in a community-minded, socially-conscious environment. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Ingrid moved East after studying art at the UW, including drawing with notable professors Zhi Lin and Emily Gherard.
