NJNJ Audubon Photography Instructors’ Summer Exhibition The New Jersey Audubon Photography Instructors’ Summer Exhibition will be held June 1 through September 24, 2023. Join the instructors for Sherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary photography workshop series for an exhibit of nature-oriented photography Phil and Becky Witt, David and Cathy DesRochers, Jack and Ellen Moskowitz and Jacki Dickert will have a show of their nature- oriented images in the Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery! Gallery Hours Tuesday through Saturday: 9:00am to 5:00pm Sunday: Noon to 5:00pm Closed: Mondays Cost: FREE Location: Wayrick Wildlife Art Gallery on the second floor of the Scherman Hoffman Sanctuary, 11 Hardscrabble Rd. in Bernardsville.
Rockin’ Rocket Ride
NJRockin’ Rocket Ride Put on your space suit and blast-off into outer space to visit the Moon, Sun and planets. A lively experience for young people with selected music from "Journey Into Space" by Jane Murphy. (recommended for ages 3-8)
Skylight Music Concert
Skylight Music Concert Our youngest audience members can sing along with songs by mr. RAY (Family Ride, Kalien the Alien) and Jane Murphy (Moon Rock Rock, The Planet Song). Some songs are illustrated with lasers and other songs feature video images. (recommended for ages 3-8) Plan to arrive early! Planetarium shows start promptly. Late admission is not allowed. Arrive 20-30 minutes before your show starts to purchase your tickets and look at the exhibits. Parking: The closest parking lots are #9 and #1. Walk up the stairs to get to the Planetarium entrance. Call the Planetarium if you need handicapped parking. Admission: $10 per person for one show, $18 per person for two shows back to back Make a reservation: Reservations are recommended. All ticket sales are done at the door on the day of the show. Can-U-Cannu
NJCan-U-Cannu (All Ages, 7 and older) After a “splashing” time at this introductory canoe class, you will learn the basic paddling techniques, safety aspects of canoeing, and handling a canoe in and out of the water. Each canoe can accommodate two paddlers and a child passenger. Classes take place on Branta Pond at the Environmental Education Center.
