Santa Fly-In
The Rotary Club of Somerville and Bridgewater are excited to announce that they have heard from the North Pole and Santa will be arriving at Central Jersey Airport on the 10th of December. He is scheduled to arrive at noon and will be available until 3:00 PM. Be sure to register in advance as this event has become so popular that we are limiting seats. Thank You!
This is the 14th year Santa is flying into Central Jersey Airport and the Rotary Club of Somerville and Bridgewater are proud to host Santa as he travels around the world meeting good boys and girls. He will be arriving at 12:00 (weather permitting) and departing at 3:00. He’ll be visiting another airport before us and if the weather doesn’t let him fly – not to worry – he’ll Uber over!
The cost is $15 for adults and $10 per child. You are required to register and pay in advance. If you attended a previous Santa, you know we go all out to assure your child is having the best experience possible. The hangar is comfortably heated, our Santa doesn’t get any better, the opportunity for family photos to be taken produces some beautiful family moments, there’s plenty of food and, of course, we have numerous crafts available for your child to create decorations he can give to teachers, a relative or hang on the tree.
Our most treasured personal Santa letters will be available the day of the event. After you register, you will be contacted for personal information specific to your child that you would like Santa to address. Our letters range from the generally good kid with sports interests, a great big sister, please wear your glasses and you need to stop getting in trouble at school. And, as always Santa will call your child by name when they meet to hand them their gift.
You are required to bring a gift wrapped present for your child that Santa will be giving to him/her. The personal letter will be attached to the present and handed to your child when Santa calls him/her. We ask that each family support the homeless children residing at Agape House and a selection of children in our community whose parents cannot provide a Christmas for them. Currently there are 18 children residing at Agape (our county non-profit homeless facility) and we’d love to give them a Christmas to remember – despite their situation. Please call 908-526-3456 if you need assistance or have any questions.
