HTA’s signature bus tour will happen on February 19th, 2023!  Tours begin at 9am, 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:00 pm.  This exclusive tour only occurs once a year and sells out quickly.

During the winter cantonment of 1778-79, George and Martha Washington, General Nathaniel and Kitty Greene, General Henry and Lucy Knox, General Von Steuben and General Alexander (also known as Lord Stirling), lived here for months during the winter, a place called Middlebrook that General Washington chose for many reasons and brought his army here more than once during the war.
