Somerset County Board of Agriculture presents our 2024 Agriculture in Action hosted by the Carnevale Family in Hillsborough, NJ. The Carnevale Farm is a preserved Horse Farm in Hillsborough, NJ. They produce their own hay and care for several horses. This Event is rain or shine. There is a cost of $5.00 per family. So join us to learn more about farming in Somerset County.

Again, our hosts will be opening their farm on September 7, 2024 10 am to 2 pm. In addition to the Carnevale’s opening their farm for the public to tour, they event will be supported by the Board of Ag, a local veterinarian, farriers, equine nutrient, the County Agricultural Development Board and more. There will be horses, and hay demonstrations.

There will be food available for purchase. We are asking for $5.00 per family to help offset some expenses and the balance will go towards the Tom Everett Scholarship Fund. We are looking forward to hosting you at our event and teaching you about Somerset County NJ Agriculture.
