An event sure to get you into the holiday spirit! Head on over to Downtown Somerville the Holiday Jubilee and annual tree lighting.

There’s a little something for everyone at this event. Visitors can enjoy festive music to set the mood and a performance by the School of Rock and Elite Dance Center. This year there will also be a live ice carving demonstration, strolling carolers, and appearances from the the characters of the Disney movie Frozen.

Expect to see the little ones’ faces light up as Santa arrives to help light the tree. Visitors may take free photos with Santa after the tree lighting in front of the United Reform Church on Main Street.

Make it magic at the end of the evening with a cozy carriage ride (beginning at 6:00 PM).
