Our goal is to provide the absolute pinnacle of food quality and service. We are located in the Blawenburg Village section of Skillman, New Jersey. Our iconic corner building has been a post office, general store, dry cleaner, deli, antique shop, newspaper headquarters, dog groomer, catering company, and café throughout the years. Our logo is a pineapple (the colonial universal sign of welcome) and tulips (traditional flowers from Holland that represent the Dutch family of John Blaw, the settler of Blawenburg) The Bistro is open from 7:00am-2:30pm on Mondays, 7:00am-5:00pm Tuesday through Friday and 8am-2:30pm on weekends.

Since 1986, The Tiger’s Tale has been a mainstay in the Montgomery community for families to meet and enjoy good food, cold beer and share warm memories. The first tavern at this Rt. 206 location was called Black Bart’s, when Montgomery was a sparsely populated township with plenty of farming, hunting and winding country roads. Around 1980, the Monier brothers purchased Black Bart’s and called it The Foolish Fox. Joe & Dave Monier built the 40 seat rectangular bar and added the grill behind the bar – the first in the area! When the Monier brothers wanted to sell, Adrian & Cory purchased the Foolish Fox , changed the name to The Tiger’s Tale – and the rest is history! So please stop by and meet our talented, friendly staff at the Tale! Whether for a delicious & quick businessperson’s lunch, cocktails at the bar (including a nice selection of craft beers), or a sumptuous, fresh cooked dinner with all the fixin’s.
