Acapulco is an authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of Raritan. We offer an authentic and market-driven Mexican menu inspired by travels abroad, particularly traditional Mexican street fare. Creating a new take on regionally-influenced Mexican cuisine, the menu aims to showcase a diversity of dishes from across the country. Acapulco emphasis on keeping our menu rooted in authentic Mexican cooking and techniques is expressed through items like fresh hand-pressed tortillas crafted with heirloom corn, house-made crema, and queso fresco, as well as spicy chorizo made on site. The beverage program incorporates Mexican flavors with seasonal ingredients, and cocktails by Tamer Hamawi include tequila and mezcal by small-batch and artisan distillers.

For over 30 years Candyland Crafts has provided the cake and candy making community with a comprehensive offering of cake decorating and chocolate making supplies.  Candyland Crafts maintains 4,000 sq. ft. of retail space where customers can stroll and shop for all there cake decorating and chocolate making needs as well as offering a full range of classes for aspiring and experienced decorators as well as fun one-off courses such as cupcake decorating, BYOB cocktails class, birthday parties, corporate bonding events and private instruction. The business also recently expanded their product offerings to soap making products and supplies.

Char Steakhouse offers a New York style dining experience at an affordable, Central Jersey price. Enjoy the finest cuts of dry aged and prime beef, including porterhouse, filet, NY strip and cowboy ribeye. Not in the mood for steak? Oysters, lobster, cedar wrapped Atlantic salmon, and colossal blue crab are just a few of the daily fresh offerings from the sea.  

In 1917, Costanio DeLucia, an Italian Immigrant, opened a bread bakery on First Ave in Raritan. ?In the early years, horse and buggy delivered the bread to Raritan and other towns as far away as Martinsville.  In the 1930’s, pizza was added to the menu. By the early 1950’s, pizza popularity in this country grew so large that DeLucia’s converted to an all pizza menu. ?DeLucia’s continues to make pizza in the original brick oven. Third generation Joseph “Buddy” & Allie oversee the pizzeria, and his son, Christian currently owns and runs the business. A quick calculation estimates that over three million pizzas have been made throughout the years.
