  Chef Giovanni Giornalista and his wife Theresa create authentic Italian dishes that are innovative, while still paying respect to the classics. Cafe Rustica is open for lunch and dinner, and offers party and catering services.

Carrabba’s serves fresh, flavorful Italian dishes prepared from the finest ingredients sourced from around the world, from fresh mussels rope grown in the icy cold waters off the coast of Prince Edward Island, to Borges extra virgin olive oil imported from Catelonia, Spain, to Garafolo pasta imported from a small town outside Pompeii. Everything is made by hand in each restaurant every day, from our delicious soups and flavorful sauces to our salad dressings and desserts. Even the roasted cinnamon rum pecans that top our John Cole dessert are made from scratch.

   Central Pizzeria offers a full Italian menu, from pizza to pasta; from subs to veal entrees.  

Master Chef Filippo Russo and his wife Berti opened Da Filippo Autentica Cucina Italiana in 1998.  With his profound knowledge in the culinary field, Filippo is able to present a level of authenticity through his dishes, replicating his mother’s recipes as well as the environment he was exposed to in Sicily.  Chef Russo enjoys traveling to his native homeland, and his specialties represent various regions of Italy: Piemonte, Veneto, Lazio, Umbria, Liguria, Lombardia, Toscana, Sardegna and Marche.  Da Filippo’s is recognized throughout Europe, and by patrons as far east as Japan and Singapore. When guests arrive at Da Filippo Ristorante they are welcomed with European hospitality while finding themselves in a rustic ambiance.

In 1917, Costanio DeLucia, an Italian Immigrant, opened a bread bakery on First Ave in Raritan. ?In the early years, horse and buggy delivered the bread to Raritan and other towns as far away as Martinsville.  In the 1930’s, pizza was added to the menu. By the early 1950’s, pizza popularity in this country grew so large that DeLucia’s converted to an all pizza menu. ?DeLucia’s continues to make pizza in the original brick oven. Third generation Joseph “Buddy” & Allie oversee the pizzeria, and his son, Christian currently owns and runs the business. A quick calculation estimates that over three million pizzas have been made throughout the years.

Eno Terra is founded on the principle of regionalism and seasonality, drawing from local farmers, fishermen, and poultry producers, with three season harvests and grass fed beef from the Eno Terra Canal Farm. Eno Terra, in line with the philosophy “Eat Local Drink Global,” brings together the best of local and regional markets and pairs the cuisine with the best wines from around the world.  The menu is Italian in sensibility and features a wood burning grill, while the wine list focuses on Italy and the United States with an abundant representation from France and Spain. Eno Terra is steeped in history, sitting on the oldest highway in America.  Known as King’s Highway, it was historically a center point of local commerce. Approximately 75 yards to the west of the front door is the bridge over the Millstone River.  This bridge was destroyed by General George Washington’s troops to help thwart the British after his successful battle in Trenton in 1777. The restaurant itself is the site of the Fisk General Store, and dates back to the 1860s.
