Who is Mama Fanti? Mama Fanti is Fantina Mateo Portillo our mother. Born in 1956 to a working family and with few resources. Mama Fanti’s life has been linked to the kitchen. I never finish school but the fight for educating their children was the engine to get ahead at times with our grandmother and they went to fairs selling food but most of their Culinary experience has been in Guatemala and especially in Esquipulas. work during 40 years selling food. Why the name? We want to recognize mom’s legacy in our achievements, the name transmits tenderness, home, organic, family and the table links us between countries as lovers of good home food
