The Wyckoff-Garretson House was built circa 1730 by John Wyckoff, one of the earliest settlers in the area. In 1805, Samuel Garretson built an addition. The house is a remarkable example of Dutch framing techniques, and has been restored by the Meadows Foundation as a center for the interpretation of Dutch culture in Somerset County.
