NJ Audubon: The Fungi Kingdom

Led by Dorothy Smullen, Teacher/Naturalist, former president of the New Jersey Mycological Association

Join Teacher/naturalist Dorothy Smullen for an all-day NJ Audubon Institute For Field Naturalists workshop about all things “mushroom.” Using keys, field guides, powerpoint presentations, and a trail walk we will cover the basics of identification, and learn about the importance of fungi for the ecosystem and the future.

A Professoinal Development certificate will be available for this workshop.

COST: $75 members, $95 nonmembers.

Registration required. Ticket sale ends 10/16 at 4:00 PM.

CANCELLATION: NJ Audubon’s programs require a minimum number of registrants to run. If we cancel, due to lack of participation, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and are eligible for a full refund. Participants may cancel without penalty if greater than 48 hours in advance. Sorry, no refund for cancellations less than 48 hours in advance unless due to health emergencies; however registrations can be transferred to another program in the future.
