BY AIR: Newark International Airport is just 35 miles from the center of Somerville. Take I-78 West for 27 miles to exit 29 – I-287 S – toward Somerville. After 4 miles, take exit 17 (on the left) for US-22 toward Somerville. Follow US-22 for 2 miles and then make a right onto North Bridge Street, which you will follow for 1 mile, when you will reach the town center.

BY BUS: New Jersey Transit buses run from New York’s Port Authority to Bound Brook, Branchburg, Bridgewater, Montgomery, North Plainfield, Somerville and Watchung.

BY CAR: Two major interstate highways cut through Somerset County, including I-78 and I-287. Additionally, motorists may find state highways including US-202, US-206, US-28, and US-22 easy to navigate through our county.

CAR RENTAL: Budget (800-527-0700) and Enterprise (800-261-7331) have rental locations in Somerville and Hertz (800-654-3131) has a rental location in Bridgewater. Call for location details and hours.

TAXI: If you need a taxi in the area, call Raritan Valley Taxi (908-333-7203), American Taxi Services (908-526-0055), and Allstar Sky-View Taxi (908-725-2233). You may also consider using Uber or Lyft.

TRAIN:
New Jersey Transit Trains depart from New York’s Penn Station and provide service to Basking Ridge, Bernardsville, Bound Brook, Bridgewater, Far Hills, Gladstone, Peapack, Raritan and Somerville. For more information, please call (973) 275-5555.
