Paper Marbling Experience with Keith Garubba

Experience the magic of marbling decorative and abstract papers with this easy-to-pick-up introductory workshop to a centuries old practice.

Your single session hands-on class will be so much more than a painting party: you’ll have the opportunity to follow your curiosity as you experience the spontaneous magic of paper marbling and also learn how to control classic, intricate patterns.

You’ll be walked through all the techniques you need to make mesmerizing designs in 16 specially prepared colors of the season.

In this workshop you will:

• Create 10 marbled papers, 12” x 19”, yours to keep.

• Learn 3 basic patterns common in traditional marbling.

• Explore spontaneity in freestyle marble designs.

• Try Ebru Drawing, a way to make pictures in floated inks.
