Students will gain an understanding of the nature of clay. They will experience first hand the magic of transforming clay into vessels as they are challenged artistically to discover their relationship with the wheel and clay. Glazing and firing will be covered. Functional and sculptural handbuilding projects will be explored. Experimentation will be encouraged.

Special Notes

All students must comply with the Policies and Procedures found on The Center’s website. There will be no refunds for students removed from class for failure to observe The Center’s Policies and Procedures.

 

Materials

All materials are included, however, we recommend bringing a smock or old t-shirt to wear over clothes to avoid messes.
