The Art of Yamadori: How to create and care for Bonai Trees

In this monthly workshop series- every class is unique! You will learn how to use plants, shrubs, and trees from your back yard to create a beautiful Bonsai that lasts for years.

This process is know as the art of Yamadori—or foraged plant specimens skillfully trained into works of art known as Bonsai. This workshop is led by Blooms at Belle Mead’s favorite Bonsai enthusiast, Peter Bethune. Peter brings examples of his bonsai work to show you different techniques and tricks of the trade!

For a more in-depth experience, bring in a small young tree of your own. With Peter’s instruction, you will learn how to trim and train your bonsai!

Attend each monthly class- growing in knowledge as your bonsai tree grows! There are things to be done to train your tree each month!
