Weekend Journey Through the Past

Weekend Journey Through the Past

Saturday, October 12  |  10:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday, October 13  |  Noon-4:00 pm

As one of the 13 original colonies, New Jersey is full of old charm and historical sites. Somerset County has 30 historic sites, monuments, and buildings countywide, with one being found in essentially every town.

This October, Somerset County is celebrating its 14th annual Weekend Journey through the Past. Participating historic sites are being grouped into three tours (Northern, Central, and Southern Somerset County). Over the course of the weekend (October 12 and 13), visitors will get to step back in time and experience the county’s rich history, learning what life what like for individuals living here 50, 100, and 200 years ago.
