We’ll have over 20 local farmers, growers, food artisans, makers, and artists. Located at the Municipal Center, in the Meeting Chambers across the lobby. Fill your holiday table and baskets with gifts for all!

Diya painting and Rangoli Competition Diwali, the “festival of lights,” is a vibrant celebration of joy, hope, and liberation across South Asia and the diaspora. To celebrate the triumph of good over evil, freedom over oppression, and the interconnectedness of all life at Montgomery’s farmers market we invite you to paint your unique diya and/or create community through a rangoli competition. Activities are from 10:30am to noon. Open to anyone. Ages 16 and above for rangoli painting. No registration or fees required, just come to the activity table next to the Montgomery Friends of Open Space table and say you want to participate. Supplies provided. Join us for an exciting bird watching event led by Tammy Garaffa, long-time Montgomery birder. You’ll learn to spot and identify different bird species and get to know their calls and behaviors. Wear long-sleeved shirts and pants, and put on sturdy shoes for comfort. Oh, and don’t forget your binoculars! All are welcome. Free
