If you’re love trying different brews, we’ve got you covered in Somerset County. Check out the below breweries, distillery, and a cidery! – that span the entire county.
Flounder Brewing (Hillsborough)
A brew and farm experience like no other. Flounder Brewing opened their location at Carriage Farm in spring 2021 in a restored historic barn. Visitors can expect bucolic views and may even catch a glimpse of some of the property’s goats and sheep on site, though like all animals they may be shy at times or taking some time away from the sun. On the weekends, there are generally food trucks on-site (on the Carriage Farm property) for you to grab a bite from. You may also order from various local restaurants.
Jersey Cyclone Brewing (Somerset)
If you’re looking for variety, look no further! With over 14 beers on tap, Jersey Cyclone Brewing has someone for any beer lover including ales, IPAs, Belgians, and more!
Jersey Cyclone has events throughout the year where you can experience entertainment, food trucks, and of course, beer! To keep up with all their latest activities (and activities around the county), sign up for our weekly newsletter.
Village Brewing (Somerville)
In the heart of downtown Somerville you’ll find Village Brewing, perfectly situated at the intersection of Division and Main. Experience a cool downtown vibe at this modern brewpub. Village consistently offers weekend entertainment. You can also grab a growler to-go.
Bellemara Distillery (Hillsborough)
Located adjacent to Flounder Brewing on the bucolic Carriage Farm property, Bellemara Distillery is Somerset County’s newest addition to the Spirits of Somerset County. Try handcrafted cocktails with spirits distilled right on site where everything is made from scratch as much as possible.
Burnt Mills Cider (Bedminster)
Somerset County’s only cidery is located in the rolling hills of Bedminster. Grab one of your favorite ciders or a flight! Our favorites are some of their local collaborations. Burnt Mills Cider is dog-friendly and kid-friendly! Bring a chair and even some yard games (or use one of BMC’s) for even more fun!
