Somerset County Tourism is Accepting Nominations for Annual Salute to Tourism Awards Through December 20

Somerset County Tourism is now accepting nominations for the 5th annual Salute to Tourism awards program. The event, which includes an awards presentation and keynote luncheon, will be held on Friday, January 19, 2019 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the The Bernards Inn, 27 Mine Brook Road in Bernardsville, N.J. This year’s keynote speaker is hospitality expert, writer, travel podcaster and consultant, Glenn Haussman.

The Salute to Tourism awards pay tribute to front line tourism staff and organizations that set the bar for the Somerset County Tourism industry. Nominations are being accepted through December 20, 2017 in the following categories:

*Economic Champion: A person or organization that has made a significant and direct impact on the Somerset County economy through visitor spend, job creation, or increased tax revenues.

*Service Excellence: A Somerset County tourism professional who has demonstrated outstanding customer service at a county tourism asset.

*Tourism Champion: An individual or organization that has promoted Somerset County’s attributes and resources to help establish the destination brand and draw more visitors.
