*Let’s ROCK dad’s weekend with The Sourlands Music Festival. Grab some local food, a cold beer, and lose yourself to a music lineup that covers the Blues, Folk, Jazz, and Rock.

*Barnes & Noble will hold a special Father’s Day Storytime and activities featuring the book, When Dads Don’t Grow Up. This playful tale follows four father-child pairs as they spend happy, silly times together, popping bubble wrap, watching cartoons and taking part in shopping cart races.

*Take in a game at TD Ballpark to see the champion Somerset Patriots. The team hosts the York Revolution Friday, Saturday and Sunday of Father’s Day weekend!

*Grab dad and the kids and head over to Pony Up! Festival at the United States Equestrian Team Foundation Headquarters in Peapack-Gladstone. This festival gives parents and kids a fun, hands-on experience into the world of horses and all things equestrian.

*Let dad enjoy a cold one or two at the Somerville’s Craft Beer Fest presented by Tapastre and Project P.U.B. This event runs Saturday and Sunday and will offer live music on stage all day, food from local downtown Somerville restaurants and plenty of local and state breweries.

*Is dad a wine enthusiast? Treat him to Advanced Wine Education: Big, Bold Reds at Ninety Acres!

*Hit the trails with dad at Duke Farms! Bike or hike breathtaking trails through a variety of habitats, attend a nature or horticulture program, take an organic gardening class, go on a geocaching adventure. The sky’s the limit at Duke Farms.

*Tee off with dad at one of Somerset County’s many award-winning public golf courses. Dad can choose from three championship nine-hole courses – Meadow, Lake, and Ridge or have him head over to the double-ended driving range to practice his swing. The Somerset County Park Commission offers five fantastic public courses – Neshanic Valley, Green Knoll, Quail Brook, Spooky Brook, Warrenbrook – and check out Royce Brook Golf Club in Hillsborough.
