Come join the Ukrainian History and Education Center for self-guided and expert-guided tours at St. Andrew Cemetery & Mausoleum, the Fisher Family Cemetery and St. Andrew Memorial Church in Somerset/South Bound Brook! Norz Hill Farm offers Hayride experiences complete with holiday lights, animal and outdoor interactive displays, a spin by the animals, and perhaps a stop by Santa's cornfield office! Bring the blankets and bundle up for a cozy, heart-lifting time. Bring your camera and take your Holiday Pictures (no professional photographers, please) Warming Fire - toast up some marshmallows and enjoy some hot cocoa. The Home Farm Stand will be open so you can stock up on meats, pies, pasta, and so much more. Located in Center Court on the shopping center’s Lower Level, visits to Santa Celebration will begin Saturday, Nov. 12 through Saturday, Dec. 24. Set amongst 25 garland-topped light curtains (each adorned with thousands of white, glistening lights) and candy-cane inspired twists cascading from high above, Santa Celebration will feature an authentic Kris Kringle perched in his grand velvet chair on an elevated platform behind his adoring guests. A bright and cheery, red photo frame sits in front of the famed wish-fulfiller proclaiming, “Holiday Joy.” Photo reservation and schedule page coming soon! Santa Photo Special Events Santa’s Luau! - Wed, Nov. 30, 4pm – close. Santa may work in the cold during the holidays, but he loves the tropics too! Don your best Hawaiian gear and join the fun! Ryan, Cathy Schalk, Ellen Silberlicht, Catherine Stebinger, Dayna Talbot, Linda Tomkow, Christine Vogensen, Nancy Winegard, Miriam Young “My first exposure to the medium of felt came through Joseph Beuys’ art, and his many uses of felt (e.g. “Felt Suit,” “Plight,” and “Sled”), as well as Robert Morris’ industrial felt abstract sculptures. This early exposure, more than twenty years ago, helped me see wool, and other soft materials, as a medium for rigorous artistic exploration. The submissions for this exhibition presented many wonderful uses of felt. The first time through the entries I looked at everything and then took a long break—returning the next day. At that point, I selected the work that had stayed with me from the previous day. The next review was more difficult. I had to eliminate several really good works
